Ruboni Community Camp Location and Overview

Ruboni Community Camp is situated at the foothills of Rwenzori Mountain ranges in Ruboni village, a community of about 2000 bakonzo people. The camp offers basic safari accommodation and is the convenient choice for travellers working on a tight budget. Accommodation

The lodge’s accommodation features 3 self-contained, 6 private rooms and a campsite. The Bandas are self-contained and have a supply of running water piped from a nearby spring. Each of the units has a private veranda looking out to the mountains and surrounding attractions. The campsite is well maintained and available for travellers who have their own camping equipment. The facility has a block of shared bathrooms and composting toilets.

Restaurant and bar

The camp has an on-site restaurant which serves savoury Ugandan and continental dishes prepared by professional cooking staff. Meals can be served in the formal restaurant environment or outside on the terrace. Special dietary requirements are considered when the chefs are informed on time.

Solar power supply

The lodge has a supply of solar power in all its facilities, the Bandas and rooms have solar bulbs which emit good lighting and the main lodge has power outlets for guests to charge their phones, cameras and other electronic gadgets.

Running water

The lodge has a supply of running water in all its facilities including both hot and cold water in the bathrooms. Regular housekeeping is done by the camp’s dedicated staff to maintain a good hygiene. Guests always have an adequate supply of water to bathe and clean up whenever they want.
