Mahogany Springs Lodge is a luxury safari accommodation facility located in Buhoma region in the Northern side of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a beautifully stunning view over the Munyaga river valley. The lodge’s location in the heart of the wild makes visits from gorillas and forest birds inevitable.

Mahogany Springs Lodge is a complex of eight large and fancy stone cottages, each having large Windows and double doors, a balcony plus a huge well maintained terrace overlooking Munyaga river and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The lodge has a presidential suite featuring two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. The lodge also has two family suites connected by a shared living room space. The suites are composed of hardwood floors, mahogany beds, writing desks, and bathrooms having terracotta mosaic-tiled showers. Mahogany Lodge is a haven of tranquillity, comfort and privacy.

Mahogany Lodge has a menu that changes every day with recipes from Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The lodge’s professional chefs bake delicious biscuits and cakes every day. Mahogany Lodge uniquely offers bush breakfasts by the river and a barbecue which is at least once a week. All dietary requirements and food specialities are catered for.

Bar & lounge

Mahogany lodge’s hardwood bar is stocked with all beverages ranging from alcoholic to non-alcoholic drinks. You can relax in the lounge while sipping a wine or cocktail, relishing the gentle warmth emanating from the double-sided fireplace and taking in the beauty of the river and not so distant Virunga Mountains.
