Equator Snow Lodge is situated at the foothill of the legendary Rwenzori Mountain ranges(Mountains of the Moon)–a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The lodge has a unique eco-system and a breath-taking view of the Mubuku River, the mountains, rugged hills, forests, and Rwenzori National Park. Equator Snow Hotel is the ideal accommodation for the avid mountaineer and passionate naturalist.

Equator Snow Lodge is comprised of four luxury cottages which are spacious, elegantly furnished and self-contained with ensuite bathroom facilities fitted with hot and cold water showers, bathtubs, flushing toilets and an assortment of quality toiletries.
The cottages were built using a collection of round stones from Mubuku river and each unit has a private patio looking out to the Rwenzori Mountains, the river and surrounding forests.
Restaurant and bar
Equator Snow Lodge has an on-site restaurant which serves delicious local and continental dishes prepared by professional chefs and cooking staff. Special dietary requirements are taken into consideration when you notify lodge management.
The lodge has a fully stocked bar which has an assortment of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Freshly brewed coffee and tea are also prepared and served when guests ask for them. The lodge has a number of spots where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Solar power supply
Equator Snow Lodge has a supply of solar power in all its facilities. The cottages have solar bulbs which emit good lighting and each one of the units has an inverter battery. Power blackouts are rarely heard of at Equator Snow Hotel.
Running water
The lodge has a supply of running water in all its facilities including both hot and cold water in the ensuite bathrooms. The guests have a generous water supply to allow them to do all their cleaning without any inconveniences. Regular housekeeping is done to ensure a good hygiene.
